Default Can miles on speedo go up when being dollied?

Im looking at this car, and the guy is saying alot of the miles from being dollied behind a truck/semi or whatever from a company that dropped off semis and drove the car back home. Is there any truth to this? Just curious if thats actually possible. Its rwd and im pretty sure has the digital dash. Its a 95 town car if that matters.

Thats what i was thinking. Just thought i would ask.

From the pic, the car looks clean as hell tho for 212k on it. It has two dents, in front of the rear wheels on both sides where he said was from towing it like he said, he said it even still has the wiring harness from when it was towed behind the truck so it sounds true, but as far as the miles thing im not quite sure that would add miles to the speedo.

He said 500 firm. It needs the rear air suspension fixed, big surprise on these air suspension cars.

If he was towing a RWD car by the front wheels(rears on the ground), and left the drive shaft in, avoid that car like the plague! You understand by doing that, you are turning the drive train without the fluid flowing, right? That trans is going to be out soon.

Never thought about that. Im going to ask him. But do the dents from the dolly in front of the rear wheels tell which way it was towed I dont know how the dollies work really, it would seem like if they were right there that it prolly was towed by the rear wheels. And which obviously no miles were added when towed. Im not really totally worried about the miles but would like to know at least.

Are you gonna fix the air suspension yourself? I just picked up a mark viii a few months ago with a bad air suspension, you could change all the bags, height sensors, and solenoids in less than an hour yourself with minimal tools.
