Default what is harder to do?

ok, my buddy is a import mechanic and he likes building fast cars and race cars and i build all the sound cars. not really against each other as to who is louder or faster just in general. but i was wondering...with the CACO opinion, what do you think is harder. building a 10 second car or building a 170 db van?

astro van for db or a honda civic for 10 seconds or less lets say.

170db van any day of the week.

That's not a fair comparison at all. A corvette z06 can do 10's with nothing but drag radials and some gears!

x10, you dont have to do alot to get a NICE mustang to do 10's, while a 170db van can take lots of testing and retesting

To be top tier in either(sound or drag) takes tons of testing/retesting and fingers crossed. Which is easier would mostly depend on simply which is more suited to your style of thinking, I'd think.
