Default Why does my truck

Have white smoke coming out of the exhaust? I just recently was able to finish my head gasket's on my truck about a couple weeks ago and untill this week I didn't have time to start it up. But now it is still smoking white smoke out of the exhaust just like it was before I did my head gasket's. I remember when the truck was a daily driver it wouldn't smoke out of the exhaust unless I didn't drive it for a couple days if that helps. I'm just really wanting to finish this truck and use it as a daily driver again and put my system in it, thanks for the help!

All the white smoke i've seen in the past has been due to coolant entering the combustion chamber. Where the head gaskets bad before you replaced them?

It's like a ton of smoke at first when you start it up each time then it kinda subsides.

sounds like something is wrong with it. maybe your repair didn't fix it.

I don't know but when it was a daily driver a couple months ago it would do this if it sat for a couple days and once I started driving it again it would take a day or so to go away.

I changed my oil after doing my head gasket's but I someone told me that there still could be water/coolant in the oil which is making the white smoke.
