Default h.i.d. kit help im drawing a blank guys?

alright guys was workn on my girls 99 pontiac grand am and im getting nothing. Now i tried couple thing's before i posted this up here's what i tried to troubleshoot.

*reverse polarity on the ballast
*making sure all wires were connected.
*checked reg. headlight bulb and it works so it's not stock socket

Now here's what i did noticed in the instructions says run pos. terminal off adapter to battery. well theres only 2 wires on my adapter and it looks like missing one prong on the adapter. my guess is this is why its not working. the kit is a 9008 bulb number from ddm tuning. any one know what could be wrong. i installed my 9004 from xentec and worked great but also had 3 prongs.

splice both + headlight wire and - headlight wire. then put the = wire of the hid kit on the + of the headlight and then do the same for the - wire. should work!

Yeah sometimes the connections in the harness aren't making contact. Use a DMM and make sure you are getting continuity.

ya make sure all wires are fully connected. i just went and fixed mine. everytime i hit my brights my headlights went out. come to find out the wire that goes to the brights wasnt in all the way.... so ya double check all conections at the blue plug as that is where my wire wasnt in all the way. hope this helps......keep us updated and let us know what happends..

actually with the grand am you have to disable the DRLs. And if you bought the Hi/Lo then you will have to trash it and just get a single bulb kit.
