Default Today i brought my car to honda to get it serviced

and all went fine and dandy. I got everything done and got the paper saying what all they checked and how my car checked out. Everything looked good except the tire tread. My back 2 are 9s out of 10. My front left is 7 out of 10. And my front right is a 4 out of 10.

When i asked them why my front right tire would ware SOOO much faster than my others they said they had no idea. That doesnt make since to me, I thought it was an alignment problem but they said that the tread would be worn unevenly on the tire. Like wear on the inside or the outside. Not the whole tire.

So im lost. What would cause my tire to wear down when the others are fine.

Keep in mind i spent alot on these tires. And they arnt cheap shit.

Thanks guys.

WTF kind of scale are they using?

Tires are measured in 1/32's not 1/10's

The only thing that would make one tire wear over the others is improper inflation (that I can think of) but it wouldn't be worn evenly across. It'd either be the middle or the outer edges worn.

Maybe it was just a bad tire?

One tire fires?

It could possibly be an alignment problem, maybe a tie rod is worn slightly or adjusted wrong causing the tire to toe in or out.
Spinning your tires, burnouts, etc., could also do it... especially if only one tire will let loose.

Last time i got my tires inflated was last oil change which was 3k miles ago. Last rotation was like 7k miles ago. I know i should get that more often, but i guess it slipped my mind.

oh and 92k youre right. Its out of 32. I was thinking because it was green that it would be out of 10 in the back. so my front left is 7/32, right is 4/32, and rears is 9/32

and im hoping its a bad tire, but i dont wanna buy another and the same thing happen. So i came to ask a second opinion.

I think you are spinning your right front tire too much. Put a posi in it and keep the front tires even.
