Default electric cutout?

So I have found a decent deal on an electric cutout, I already have 3 inch header back exhaust would the cut out be worth the hassle?

Do you want to lean out your engine and be annoyingly loud?

(Assuming you have the ION pictured in your avatar)

if your racing then yes, your engine can breath better,i run one but only at the track, you can get a noise violation ticket on the street.

Noise violation schmoise violation.

I ran open manifolds (cut all the exhaust off) on my K5 blazer and was sitting beside a highway patrol at the bottom of a hill (facing uphill) at a red light. I couldn't keep from mashing the gas to go up the hill. He didn't even look over.

My buddy had a 92F150 (I have it now) with Dual 3" straight pipes exiting with 5" tips on the passenger side in front of the back tire on a 4.9L straight 6. He would gas on it when passing cops and never got a noise ticket.

He now has an early 80's malibu with a built 468 (cam and carb are both not street legal) and he has mufflers on it but it is still so loud you have to yell to talk inside it and he did a burnout in front of a cop without getting a noise or wreckless driving ticket.

I had straight pipes on my Shadow (cruiser) and never got a noise violation ticket.

See the trend here?

I'm getting ready to redo the exhaust on my new F150 to make it louder.
