Default Slight backfire.

Im kinda thrown off here guy's alright i did a tune up yesterday spark plugs and new wires also on my 93 ford explorer sohc 4.0l. Now i at first had issue miss-firing but i mixed two wires so i fixed. runs alot better , smoother , no miss now also. But here's the issue i have everyone know and then in park i haven't noticed it in drive yet i will get a real slight small sounding backfire sound? I did not have this issue ever before. Any ideas? also doesn't happen all the time it seem's like also.

The spark plugs are Autolite Iridium's. With duralast spark plug wires. the plugs are gapped at .54 like there supposed to be.

It's probably just because it is a 93 and is a half breed fuel injected car.

My chevy chugs and stumbles when it is still cold because the computer doesn't know WTF is going on. lol

And you shoulda got coppers.

I run copper plugs in everything I have and I don't have any issues with them.

Heck if I know. I think I just put Motorcrafts in my F150. I believe the Chevy has bosche's in it. Whatever is suggested for the manufacturer.

i will never put bosche's in anything but bmw or vw. as for chevy delco plugs , chrysler are champion only , ford are motorcraft or autolite , Ngk run in many imports or high heat applications drag cars etc..... i had autolite's in my truck b4 with no issues as well. Im gonna ask look into vacumm leak rpm's boune slightly at idle just a little , and also check air filter i dont believe i've changed that in a while lol.
