how would this be for welding sheet metal? mine grew legs and walked off so need another now

what thickness sheet metal? and for what? welding supports on a car, probably not. welding simple stuff, probably.

thats a nice welder, its pretty good. just make sure that you dip the tip in a slag protection or your gonna have issues down the road.

Lol. I've had that happen with several tools. Someone liked them better than me apparently.

I love my Lincoln. You can probably get a better price if you shop around. It's probably a decent choice for the money. You might go to a local welding store if you have one close by & see what they have to offer used. Go 220V if at all possible as far as your budget, plug in etc.

well I very rarely use one, but I don't think sheet metal screws are the way to go

I didn't look to see if it actually comes with it but you want one with an adjustable regulator. Trust me. The fixed regulators the smaller welders come with suck. You'll waste a bunch of gas.
