Default guys who run 20-30psi!

i see plenty of guys running 25+psi on toyota supra, honda civic, but are there anyone running 20+ psi on V-8,V-10 motors? if so what are your Compression Ratio looking like? most cars i know of running that much boost are like 8:5:1, or like buick grand national 8:0:1

same compression, the larger motor just lets you spool a bigger turbo than a 4cyl/6cyl

i dont see why more drag guys dont go this route? i guess bigger motor less psi same hp have an better power band vs using tons of psi that would mean shit in the lower rpm because of the low CR required to run the high psi

well the prob is, when the turbo's do spool up and are pulling the 25 psi, it doesnt take much in the form of a mis adjustment to really eff some stuff up. buddy of mine ran a 383 with a 110mm turbo and the betch was nasty. but wat was even nastier was havin to have the 5.000$ shortblock rebuilt everyweek. them v8' are just finnicky and yea, low compression, like 9:1 at most
