http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...er+SP-500.html
or
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...4000rs2w1.html
or
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...S-2W.html#tabs

im leaning more towards the 5000rs, but i would like to spend less if i can, w/o compromising for quality...any opinions??

NEW Crimestopper CS2015FM 2-Way Alarm / Remote Start - eBay (item 400095736833 $83 shipped

This is a nice reliable alarm. I've installed a few of that model for other people and it's what I use personally.

Also, I've done a lot of business with that seller. Everything he has sold me is exactly as described and shipped fast.

nothing beats a DEI alarm system. I love my viper and python both. Id spend the extra and do it. Used a crimestopper before, but didnt like it at all had too many issues with it..

im not interested in spending THAT much money on an alarm...all i want is a 2-way alarm with remote start that wont be completely worthless...im gonna learn how to install a remote start so thats y i want that combo...the way i look at it, if sum1 wants to break into my car that baddly, they're gonna do it regardless of wat alarm i have...drill a hole in my batt, let it drain and they've got all nite...my $300 alarm was worthless

Agreed, get a DEI. The cheap ones aren't worth it IMO. You don't want a cheapo alarm getting a short in the RS start portion and starting your car randomly, or putting out absurd current through your starter. Or any of the other things it can potentially screw up.

If you don't want to spend money on it, just get some flashing LEDs on ebay and call it a day.
