Default Mitsubishi Outlander?

Looking at getting one, its a nice vehicle with features my current lacks. I like the space, its got plenty of room in the back for stuff and the dog, the one I'm looking at has pretty much every option but 4WD (I would prefer an AWD SUV like my current one, but the Outlander has a more off road type 4WD setup).

I liked driving it, though its down 30hp on my current slightly smaller and slightly lighter SUV so it's definitely not as quick. It feels quick though, and has flappy paddles for fun, plus it drives really nice.

Comes with the Rockford system which I wasn't impressed with, but the average person would like. I could definitely do some good work with it as a base though, switching out my gear for RF stuff, maybe with a Power HX2 replacing the factory sub and a 1000-1bd to power it along with my 400-4 on some Power components up front and some punch coaxs in back...

Fair Quality, above average insurance rates, resale value on low side. I work in used car industry and my father has been Mitsubishi salesman for 20+ years. My brother has one for 2 years and over 60k with no probs. Just my .02.

I was expecting insurance to go down since it's a much safer vehicle than what I have now, plus less performance.

There's definitely a few places where they didn't use great quality materials, but it's lightyears ahead of my GM piece of crap. The flappy paddles are awesome.

I'm trying to wrangle myself a deal on this ute (not in the Australian use of the word, I wish we got those here ). We'll see.

Above average for similar vehicles in its class. Depending on what you have it may be less, just don't forget full coverage is required unless you buy it outright.

I've got full coverage regardless, and I think FL requires you to have damn near full coverage anyways.
