When I used to work at my dads mechanic shop we used to change the light switch on those jeeps pretty often. The light switch Is in the steering column and it controls the lights, turn signals, and a couple of other accessories. Once they go bad lights can flicker turn signals might not work sometimes. Before u replace It though try to disconnect the wiper motor. it should have a plug that can be pulled off. Put a good fuse on then turn wipers on. If it doesn't blow fuse then the wiper motor is fryed and causing fuse to blow. As soon as u plug wiper motor back on it should blow fuse again.

From past experiences it's gonna be electrical switch in steering column but with this you will eliminate the possibility of the problem being the wiper motor. Let me know what happens and maybe I can help u out.

The switch runs about $90 and the motor about $60. But do the test first to determine which one u need. That way u don't buy unnecessary parts.
