The real problem with Ebay kits is the turbos, wastegates and BOV's. If you buy the kit and save up for a better turbo for awhile then wastegate and BOV it should be fine.

also remember those Ebay kits are rarely all bolt in. they usually need some mods.

I would HIGHLY suggest surfing Honda-tech for a good, long while. That kit you posted is full of Chinese SHIT...literally. When it comes to turboing a car, do it right the first time. Granted it's going to cost you a lot more than $1200, but at least you won't blow up your motor when you do it properly.

I would seriously piece together a kit, it's not that hard:

intercooler and all piping
downtube from exhaust side of turbo to exhaust piping
turbo
manifold
exhaust
injectors
blow off valve and wastegate.
boost controller (or just use the wastegate spring, but I wouldn't do that)
Walbro in-tank fuel pump (no rising rate externals)
Fuel lines
wideband O2 (for tuning and TRUE A/F ratios)
Gauges: boost, wideband gauge (these are the most important) temp...whatever else you want to add
Exhaust: get a Thermal R&D

And last and certainly the most important part...ECU tuning. If you wanted to really do it proper, go AEM standalone.

+1 to this. Every thing listed above seems spot on. I am not too familiar with the tsx engine but make sure you dont get a turbo/tune that is going to be to much for the motor. You dont want to be rebuilding an engine cuz that will be mucho $. As tuning goes, you should bring it to a reputable tuning shop that knows what they are doing. I know the subarus have an ECU tuner call the Cobb Accessport which the tuner then uses that device to provide you a map and then you can always return the car back to the stock tune if you ever part out the car. I assuming that is what the AEM standalone device does?

I've only used hellion turbo kits. Not sure if they do imports, but you can call john and ask what he recommends. He's the top guy in the country for turbo info

cobb does not have anything for factory non turbo cars. other than that i have to agree with buying from well know companies. a new motor will cost more than doing it right the first time. good luck if you decide to do it
