Default More cobalt problems.

Hey guys well car started acting up again today, So i went to unhook the battery to restart the cars computer and as I was taking off one of the wires I was like fuuuck that's hot. Right after that i saw smoke coming out the side of it. DAMMIT. Obviously the battery got ****ed and had to get a new one. Apparently there was a short inside the battery. Now my question is what could have caused this to happen. I'm thinking its another problem thats being added to the long list of problems comming from something in my electrical. For those who don't know, My power steering light will come on and my power steering will go in and out, tranny will shift really hard, rpms will dip below 500 when i come to a stop, while driving all the gauges will jump up and down, also here reacently it'll make the catalytic converter stop working and we can smell real by fumes.

Heres a vid of the gauges

Anyone know what i could possibly do?

ok, now what most of that sounds like it somewhere something is shorting out. its probably VERY VERY VERY small short somewhere making its way to the chasis... my tranny did that also with the low RPMS, i took it in and they replaced some part... i cant remember now... pretty sure i made a thread here ill try and remember... after they replaced it the problem came back a month later and had to replace another part.

mine was engine related, something basically had a lot of oil crud building up or something. somehow the engine wasnt getting enough air or some ish, which pissed off the tranny caused the low rpms and such and the tranny kicked HARD! ended up costing me like 800 bux

could be the ecm/tcm but i wouldn't blame it on that yet. id say the body control module is a big possibility here. to my understanding of whats going on with your car is just now and then your car just takes a spell. i would say body control module. the gauges are a sure sign of this. as it will make electronics go wild!!!
