Default Steady power related questions

Currently have a 250 amp alt from Mechman + a red top in the front.
There are times where i might have SLIGHT voltage drop, but for the most part my shit doesnt even move.

Currently hooked up:
0/1 big 3
0/1 to amp
autotek mm2000.1d (old version)
JBL 15"s 300 rms each in 5 cube pro box.

What i have to go in my car is a Dc Lvl 4 18".

Thus bringing me to 1000-1200 rms. I will also be adding a 4 chan amp for mids and highs fairly soon. (200-400 rms)

With my current electrical, will i be ok under full load and night time driving? aka lights on and bass full blast? Should i upgrade my battery under the hood? or add a second bat?

I was looking at a xs 1400 i believe but i dont know what would be my best option, Ty in advance

You are in great shape. You have enough charge current to nearly double your output and still see no voltage problems. Make certain to have good connections on wiring, and proper grounds. This will make you a happy person for a long time to come.

If anything, I would look into a small batt next to your amp (just for a little insurance cuz you haz plenty of alt). Kinetik HC600, Stinger SPV20, Shuriken BT20, etc. But, you won't really know what it will do till you hook it up and test it.

Awesome, side note my amp is grounded to a seat bolt, i'll take a picture of it. im just wondering how do i know if its a good enough ground.

Im also very curious about it because my stock alt was 105 amp, and seeing as i only have 600 rms, i wasnt putting out full power but i had tons of voltage drop. Any test for bad ground?

Depends on who you ask... There are plenty of installs out there (mine included) that run 2 diff. brand/size batts w/ no issues. Mixing AGM with flooded batts isn't the best idea.
