Default Broken Tinsel Lead

So i picked these subs up in a trade, and i threw a box together last night. I was playing it today, and then it cut out. I ended up pulling out the sub i had in there and noticed one of the tinsel leads broke off at the cone. Any way to fix this or is a recone the only way. Sucks because I was going to sell these within the next week or two.

first, unless there are four leads, it appears the lead did not break at the cone.

most likely it burned where it was sewn to the spider.

As far as fixing it, the right thing to do is remove the cap and replace the leads. {do both while you are there}

other than that, you could solder the two broken pieces together but you'll need to figure out how to secure it so it doesn't hinder the movement or cause rattles.

This is what I would do and if you get a chance you should aply some glue in the triple join (your sub doesn have one lol) seems like dd did the recone haha
