Default whats a good low box tune??

im thinking between 28-30 hz what should i go with i think im gonna have a box built this week is it true some subs cant handle boxes being tuned too low?

better get a sub that has no problem playing that low. Because alot of them arent going to preform worth a fu(k at that low of tuning

some will play better at lower frequencies. fi Qs are good at low frequencies.

Digital Designs, tune that thing around 32 hz and give them a nice big ass box, they can play WAY below tuning frequency, my pair of 3518s on a "small" box with a 33 hz tuning could hit a 146.5 @ 25 hz on VERY small power

Unless you are of a fan of 25hz, tune it to 32-35 with 16 sqin of port and call it a day. Believe it or not, I have found that tuning slightly higher with more port hits lower and louder than a lower tuned box with a smaller port
