Default whats the biggest speaker wire i can fit in skars?

I believe thell take 8 gage but i want to run them in parallel. How can i possibly fit 2 8gage wires in each?

Snip some wire off both of the pieces your trying to fit into the terminal and then twist them together

But thatll cut the gage down and make it pointless to use 8gage then wont it

its pointless to use 8 gauge between coils.lol. you're talking a few hundred watts each. you dont need a garden hose of copper. i use 12 gauge between all my coils and a single run of 8 gauge + and - to my amp.

Ahhhh ok so 12gage between coils and one side of bolt terms on box then 8gage from the other side of the box to the amp?

^this too but to answer your question it wouldn't make any difference if you snip off a little bit of wire

Whenever I twist them together I always solder them together so it is a good solid connection and you don't have to worry about them coming apart. Just a tip..

I could barely fit 2 things of 12 gauge into my Skars terminals but it is alright to snip... The purpose of larger gauge wire is to transfer current with less restriction over greater lengths but once the current reaches the end it wont matter if it is cut down or not cuz it has already done its job and that short space between the end of the wire and the term wont matter...
