so plans are big 3, a positive and negative run of 0 gauge welding wire, one high rate max C&D 540 bat. in the back, and a high rate max C&D 150 bat. up front on a stock 120 amp alternator. Going to a crescendo bc2000 at .5 , and 2 sa 12s dual 2.
First off i was told id need a voltage regulator for my alternator. Is this true?
Second, A shop selling C&D batterys said not to run a 150 as the main battery for my car, but didnt list any reasons besides they were not meant for that, will i be good?
Third, Do you think my alt will be good for now? not really trying to drop money and a newer one at the moment.
