Default Trying to fix an amp I got.

I picked up a cheap mtx 600xd and I got it last night. I only see one MOSFET burnt on it is this an easy fix?

It is if u fix amps. It should be a cheap repair. Might be round 60 bucks.

Helpful with what? Amp repair? I think not. Maybe if you're curious as to how to avoid early diffractions at 2.4khz, but I doubt anyone is going to give you a DIY on how to replace a MOSFET.

If you know basic amplifiers then I'm sure someone could help you, but if you don't know what a transistor is or how to check it you may be getting in over your head.

There are a few threads with plenty of information to read to start learning how

I got this amp from me so i looked at the other ones i have here and there is no Mosfet does in the spot ur pictured.Amp is complete its just not putting out audio due to unknown reason

So I think I'll just take it in, there is a place by my house that does good work I have used them before. But thanks for all the advice guys!

The place I took my amp can't figure out how to repair it. Oh well. Time to buy another amp.

why don't u call mtx they will quote u for repair .i have old Alpine radio no one could fixed here so i call them and the fixed it .u know no one knows their stuff better than the manufacturer
