Default 2ohms amps?

Okay so a while back when I ordered my Fi Bl, I ordered it in dual 1 ohm instead of dual 2. I wanted to run it at one. Haha yeah yeah noob mistake lets not rip me too bad for it. Butt I put an Mtx 1000xd on it and it pushes it nicely. Now it's time for an upgrade and I'm in the same boat. Difficult to find a nice 2 ohm amp. Can anyone show me a good amp that puts out around 1200-1500 at 2 ohms? Something that's not insanely expensive. Around 2-300 would be optimal. Cheaper is better. Also just for learning purposes, is that mtx 1000xd really doing 1000 clean? It seems like it, and I've had it hooked up for 3 years almost with no issue.

If your electrical is good you could run one at .5? Like a sundown 1000-1200?

Well right now I'm on stock electrical in my jeep. Stock 120 amp alt, but I will be adding a battery in back with my new amp. Would stock electrical with like a rebadged deka run a .5? I'm not really into competing just daily driving. Delivering pizzas actually lol so I want it to last a long time.

Or if you ever want to upgrade, then you could just go with the Audiopipe 3k...It is 2 ohm bridged instead of 1 ohm. This will work if you have a good electrical

Well It's really not recommended to do that on stock electrical. Only on beefy electrical. With box rise you'll probably be well over 1 ohm but still. You could get a crescendo bc2k and upgrade with another sub later and still have plenty of power on tap.

That's an idea. I just looked around online and saw a post on a diff forum. Someone showed results of clamps and it showed that they put out [email protected] instead of 2k. (I believe). Is this true?

It might be the clamp that crescendo did. you do have to look at the start ohm and the box rise. If you do have a link i'd like to look at it. I'll get you a link to the test they did.

I think that was my error haha. Nominal impedence was 1 but calculated impedence was almost 4?
