Default 4th order experts guidance needed

I hate to make another 4th order thread but I've been reading through them on a few forums all night. I would like to design one myself to save some money since the only good 4th order designers I've found want like $40+. I don't need a fancy 3d sketchup, that's what I have a imagination for.

I just have some questions to help figure out what to do here. I know the basic ratio is 2:1.

I'm looking for a fairly flat response from around 25hz-50hz. How do I go about figuring what to tune the front chamber to? Is 15 sq/in of port per cube typical for these enclosures?

Also, how do 4th orders effect the handling power of the subs?

subs are 2x sundown sa-12's
Max dimensions are 35l x 30w x 19h
I'd like to port through the ski hole, which is 8" x 17.5"

I can get u a design for half of what u posted .. But depending on power used u could go with a 2:1 and 15-20sq per cube

The best thing I can recommend is making your box as big as possible and then just playing with it, I just recently built a 4th order for my maxima and asked for a starting point and was never answered so I just rolled with. But yea a good ratio to keep in mind is 2:1. I hope I helped some man

I'll be running them off of a sundown saz2500

How much for just dimensions for everything? I don't have that much cash to spend on a design at the moment

Thanks. If I had easy access to tools I would just wing it and see what happens but I use all my fathers woodworking stuff and he lives an hour away so that would make it a pain in the ass

So same price whether you do a 3D design or not?

When figuring out port length, do I design the ported portion just like I would if I were building a normal ported box?
