Default Battery Help up front

I currently have a babybackbi*ch battery up front and have 2 C&D UPS12-370FR 100 AH battery's in the back. I want to up grade the battery up front to an optima with top & side post but am not sure witch battery will best suit my application, should i go with the Red, Yellow, or Blue optima. Your input would be greatly appreciated

Grow some balls and throw a xs in that bitsss lol Jk man. You can find yellow tops around here for 100 or less so I'd just do that if your goin for the cheapest route. If your lookin to spend some doe then just find which group size you have and hit up xs.

any of them will work.

yellow top is the only optima which the warranty covers car audio use.

--------------------------------------------
if you isolate the front battery, a red top will be fine and has the longest warranty.

don't know how much truth there is to this, but I recently looked at purchasing a group 31 optima from a local batteries plus, and was told that optima had recently moved their manufacturing down to mexico, and have had a lot of warranty claims because of it. Just something to keep in mind.

I'm guessing that was in 2009. 02/01/2009 is the distinguishing date for warranty.

I was going with optima because their Group 34/78 has side and top post and is a bigger battery than i have now and can be had around 160$. my stock battery is side post. I should use a yellow though? I am not limited to optima, i just liked that they had side/top

Assuming warrenties are irrelevant--performace only:

Which battery will work best for his application knowing he has two 100AHs already?

or

would it be beneficiary for him to ditch the two C&D High Rates and replace them with a single XS D3100?

He's got an AQ3500.

Deka Intimidator 9a78dt has is a dual post battery, they sell at battery stores near me for $130, try some local battery stores (not advanced or auto zone) and ask for an AGM battery
