Default My experience with Kicker

had bought a blown amp
called kicker for info to send it in
free to look at it ect ect.

so i sent the amp in
few days later they emailed me saying what was wrong and cost "i thought really good price"

few days after that they shipped it back, they forgot screws for cover but they sent new ones.

over all time less then 2 weeks there and back.
A++ in my book. great communications to via email.

very nice, i sent my RF T10001BD in for warrenty work because it died, ok, no big deal, right? sent it to them, somehow it took them 2 weeks to get, ok, still w/e i guess, then it took them 2 months after that to tell me that theyll just give me store credit in the time it took for them to tell me i get my money back (basically) id already purchased a better amp for the same price and had it hooked up for a while lol :P

/rant

sounds like Kicker is a safer bet for equipment in terms of time

What exactly was wrong with the amp? Blown power supply possibly. An hour or two of labor pop it in a box and ship it off. As far as the screws go they fixed their mistake not sure where the outstanding customer service comes in. You paid for a service and they just fulfilled their end of the deal, they didn't exactly go above and beyond in anyway.

some things on the board and looks like 2 things attached to side of amp. dont know names lol

not sure where your going with your comment.
but not alot of places will keep steady emails with you and answer the phone when you call.

in other words i dont care for your post, i have seen tons of crap service provided from other places.

as for the screws they could have said sorry they werent with the amp when they came in.

also not alot of places big companies that is charge 73.00 for amp repair and thats shipped back to me via fedex

Glad to hear you had good CS from them.

I sent a Solo X motor in one time because the post had shifted (not something they warranty btw). They actually lost my motor when I called because we hadn't heard anything in a month. They sent me a new one to replace it. They have also done a few other things outside of their warranty jurisdiction for me.

They know how to take care of their customers.

Amp repair is a crap shoot depending on who you deal with. Considering that I'm glad you got it fixed with a quick turn around time and for a very reasonable price. Its sad that when it comes to getting our amps fixed there really isn't a standard to adhere to but what can we do. Sorry for my original post that wasn't my intent I didn't reread before I sent it. Enjoy

Sounds a lot better than some of the other big names in car audio. Especially when mass producing equipment, it is a lot easier to give up a little free product then to have pissed off customers. Some companies don't understand that it seems. Who cares what the retail price is, the cost to the company to replace something is a drop in the hat.
