Default 240amp PB Alternator + 2 XS Power XP3000's Batts for DD M3a @1ohm?

I see the new XS Power batteries will start on the 9th of March and I just wanted to make sure I got the right size and quanity of batteries before hand.

Ill be running a 18" Crossfire XS V.2 or 15" DC XL m2 off of an Digital Designs M3a @1ohm and wanted to know if a Big 3 done over twice in 1/0, a Powerbastards 240amp alternator and 2 XP3000 batteries will do the trick for fulltilt at idle and driving. I had 2 Stinger SPV70's before and would dip into the mid 12's fulltilt at idle and was thinkin of pickin up 2 XP3000's to take care of it..Do you think this will be enough? Too much? Or just right?

Thanks

You should be fine considering your alt actually puts out rated.

I believe its rated at 140amps but does more like 165amps with the pulley...and I will say that for it being a PowerBastards alternator that was only like $275 new....they are probably the best bang for your buck alternator out there..I have nothing but positive things to say about them... it doesn't need 1800rpm to get its full output. It achieves its full output at only 1200rpm and with a car that has real low gearing like my impala, the only time id ever be at 1800rpm is during acceleration or when I'm doing 75mph on the highway lol

I however was contemplatating on going with a DC 320xp just so I can get that little extra output at idle because with the PB alternator I have now it'll hold the M3a fulltilt @ 1ohm allwhile keeping the voltage between 14.4-14.9v above 1200rpm without even dropping .1v. If they made a 300amp+ alternator or one that did 200+ at idle I'd most likely just end up buying another PB one...

If I were to get 2 XP3000's and a DC 320xp, do you think it'd be sufficent to run an M4a at a little over half gain (or the 4000wrms-4500wrms equivalent)
