Default BEST way to reallign a moter?

I recently disassembled my motor.

I now need to reconstruct it, I have never assemble a motor and Im not quite sure how to align the motors correctly.


Does anyone have any pointers?

You disassembled it while it was still magnetized?

Yeah he did..i assuming putting it back together magnetized will be a fvcking pain

Yes the motor was maganitized when i disassembled it.

I suggest the use of a bucket the parts barely fit in.

it means less shift.. as you put your magnetic sandwich back together

the motor im working on has 3 bolts which sanwithch the top plate and bottom plate areound magnents.

I think this should help in the allignment process.

lmfao....I wasnt gonna say anything in that other thread of yours, but this is hilarious. I couldnt believe you tore it all apart to clean it....or the bolt thing whatever you plan on doing there...wouldve been way less trouble to drill new holes and run studs/bolts or just make an adapter. But to each his own.
