Default amp cutting out

just threw a fosgate 10 in my truck with my us amp on it and the amp is cutting out. I look back and the power light is off. I can turn the radio off and back on and it will come back on sometimes. Any Ideas?

I was thinking voltage drop, I have a capacitor I was planning on throwing on it to see if it helps. Its an old mighty max truck that i am sure not set up to handle the power. We will see whats up. The ground might need to be moved as well I bolted it to the side of the truck to a screw that was attached to the inside paneling.

Loose remote wire maybe. Does the amp cut off at a certain volume on the headunit?
