Theyre DVC 4 ohms wired in parallel to 1. gonna recheck wiring, check for clipping and tune the amp after work. results will be posted later. I also got an idea from someone else that msgd me that my box could be too close to my back trunk wall and just sucking in the hot air its pushing out. Although that should make the other sub at LEAST warm correct?

That's some funny shit right there! I don't think this has anything to do with your problem. You need to pull the sub and check its wiring. The check the wires going to the box from the amp. Then check the wires at the amp.

I highly doubt it if it was sent back to Jacob for repair.

I think it's probably because that sub is not moving enough to allow it to cool.. Id turn the gain up a bit so it moves more for cooling reasons.. That's why it's hard on subs to be underpowered..

check phase with a 9v battery or something...touch + and - to batt, if they both move the same way it's good. If not one is wired out of phase

this, both subs in perfect unison, or check each individually

good stuff, sometimes another person to check helps before applying power to assure proper wiring
