just bc your wired at .5ohm doesnt really mean anything.. you will always have impedance rise and such
you should be fine at .5ohm maybe at most add another small battery

Run it at .5 watch your voltage and if it starts dropping too low turn it down
I run my D9 at .5ohm with 2 spv70's with a stock alt never clamped it but it's loud and drops to about 12.5 for most songs
You can wire that amp at .5 and only pull 1000watts outa it and keep it cool, it's just when youre reaching the limits of your amp that .5ohm will really stress it more and possibly damage the amp(as long as it is capable of running .5ohm)
