Default Someone want to help me with mids and highs?

Well i've been into bass for a few years now and I love it but it is time for some mids and highs. I've gone through a few subwoofer set ups but never messed with mids and highs. My question is, how would I wire 2 Crescendo PWX-10s and 4 Crescendo FT1 super tweets to a Kicker 800.4? I'm going to need a crossover as this amp isn't able to run active. But do I just run a set of wires from amp to crossover then wire to certain ohm loads from the crossover to speaker? Just don't want to mess anything up.

buy a two way crossover to separate the tweeter signal from the mids.

run the mids on one set of channels.
run the tweeters on the other set of channels.

hopefully your deck has highpass to take care of the bottom side of the mids.

first read up on active vs passive filtering.

Then chosoe one of the two.
Passive you need to make or buy crossovers.
Active, use a 2-band eq or use a digital sound processor.

2-band eq? To run active u need an active capable hu, external active crossover, active capable amp, or a processor.

Just get an external 2 way xover. Run ur hu high pass filter to 63-80hz or so, set the amp at around the same as well as the external xover or if it has a high low pass u can bandpass the mids and run the tweets on the high pass of the external xover.
