Default Looking for some advice on a trade please.

Hey guys I need some advice here. My buddy has a 16-mc1500d on his mojo m3's. He has an opportunity to trade his amp for a m2000d. (The model with the mflame logo on the center). The guy also wants $100.00. Both amps are in great similiar condition. Is this a fair trade? If not, why? Looking for some familiarized input please.

I think the mc2000 is only stable to 2ohm mono. That might present a problem.

Well I agree with the above but the plus side the m2000 will hold its value more than the 1500 there weren't as many 2000's made and the ones that are still around tend to be beat up. I would do the trade just based on that. You can always find another sub to take advantage of the 2ohm rating on the m2000

But if he wants to trade cause he thinks its more power and will make him louder well that will not be the case

maybe its just me,
but i can tell the difference between a 1700rms amp an 2000 watt amp.....
the 2000 rms amp made the sub mechanically max out more,
plus i could hear it, maybes its all psychological
