Default Changed my whole setup today! Bye JL Audio

Ive been running 12W7's and JL 1000/1's for a while now.. not really sure why besides the fact that sound really clean and I thought i would never own some of em because they r so expensive..

so i switched from 2 12w7's and 2 JL 1000/1's to 2 15" RE Audio SXX in 8 cu ft tuned to 36hz wired to 1 ohm on a SUndown SAZ-2500d. sounds pretty good, but i dont like the box, doesnt fit in my cargo area well and is tuned to high.

thinking about picking up a single 18 already tho

Ive heard a pair of 12W7s.. they sounded AWESOME! They were on a JL amp, just dont know what. They werent terribly loud, but they moved a good bit of air for 2 12s and had excellent SQ IMO

i use to talk lots of shit about the W7's and Slasher amps because they were so damn expensive and i couldnt afford em, then i got a few in on trade and I LOVE the sound of em.

Ive owned 8w7's, 12w7's and 13w7's and the 13w7's were just plain nasty @ 28hz!

hmmm...

only issue im having is getting some descent cone area in the small cargo area of my Escape while still being able to see out the back window.. and having a monster battery and amp back there isnt helping.. box for my 2 12w7's is 4 cu ft and about as big as i can fit
