Default System not as loud as it should be?

Basically I have good equipment and I feel like it's not doing its job too well. Here's the setup:
1 SAZ1500d
1 DC level 4 15
1 FLI 720.4
and this pioneer headunit ( i think avic110 bt)

anyways I truly believe it doesnt bump as hard as it should, like i have to use bass boost to feel the bass on my seat at all. the sub is wired to 1 ohm and the amp is seeing 0 awg from the battery with CCA but big 3 with OFC. I drive a 2010 chevy malibu with stock electrical besides the big 3.

I think it may have to do with the poor stock electrical or maybe not having a fuse between the saz1500 and the battery? I dont know, please offer suggestions cause this is annoying. Any questions I'll gladly entertain

With or without a fuse, it shouldnt make any difference.. just for safety.

How did you adjust the gains on the amp?

make sure its wired right. u can take a 9volt battery and touch it to your speaker wire and make sure the subs both pop out at the same time. thats a start.

dont think its because of ur electical or not being fused (not having a fuse wont cause any issues except possibly blowing ur amp form a voltage spike, lol)

CHeck your sub wiring,
Rockford Fosgate® - Woofer WiringWizard

try a differant set of RCA's

and try a differant HU..

box size will affect output GREATLY...u seem to have very solid equipment but if u install it wrong, it will play like shit...check your gains and box specs first before u waste money/time on new rcas and shit

Does that amp have a variable sub-sonic filter? If so, what is it set at?

1) double check amp settings (and dont just look at the knobs and say "looks good". learn how to do it right if you dont know how)
2) double check wiring
3) what are your box specs?

Maybe it's your ground?
I've seen a lot of things happen with a bad ground, like barley making sounds.
Or I've seen the subs slowly start moving, then progress to banging crazy stupid hard.. This actually happened to me, and notorious boom fixed it.
