Default Think I Just Blew My Amp. :(

I was putting in my dual inputs and now nothing powers on how could I check if the amp fried? Nothing smells..

Did you accidently touch the power and ground together? Any sparks?

Iíll assume power inputs? Fuse in the B+ wire blown maybe? Thatís assuming youíre using one.

If that's all you messed with, first thing to do is make sure its getting power at the amps terminals.

so you touched the pos wires to the neg terminal on the amp? or before you put them into the amp?

usually when you short the power input on the amp or wire it in reverse it will blow a diode to stop from burning up the amp, it can be an easy fix

Yeah, I did that in a brand new DB drive amp. Luckily the company gave me a new one. I blew something in it..all I know is that the amp was making a buzzing noise.
