Default Cracking the window

Well.. I noticed water getting into my car when I stepped in it a couple weeks back and a puddle of water was laughing at my feet. Just today I notice there is a crack in the lower left corner of my driver's side window, which is where the water must be coming from. Will siliconing the bottom part (where the water must be coming in from) work?

Like putting silicon over the crack in the glass? I would image the first time you rolled the window down that would peel off. You'll probably have to use some sort of epoxy.

It's on the front windshield, not the side windows.

its worth a try, (fairly cheap)

but if that doesnt do it,
your better off finding someone that is good at removing windshields
with out breaking them,

then redo the whole seal

Well..if I remove the window...the cracked piece in the corner will probably stay on the seam (It looks like a pretty deep crack)

the way you worded it sounded like you meant driver side roll up window
I don't think silicone would work, time for a new one

you said a puddle by your feet? I don't think a crack on the bottom side of windshield would do that.....so it's coming in and going behind the dash, and then onto the carpet

I'll have to double check it, but it looks like that's the source...it happens when my car is at stand still and it starts to rain...nothing else is wet. Just the floor.

Take it to your local auto glass specialist and see what they say.
