Default My crazy horn install idea

For those of you with 90s model tahoe's or or suvs in general hopefully you guys will have some input on this. I may look like a genius or a complete idiot. Oh well its worth a shot.

I picked up some image dynamic horns for a very cheap price and unfortunately they will not mount under the dash properly where they belong especially under the passenger side due to ac blower motor and heater core. I put on my thinking cap and though about installing them in the rear right behind the rear seats on the roof. They do not look that back when both are installed but would be fully exposed if seen from the rear hatch doors.

My main question is how would they sound and would it affect the airflow from the subs in the back? Does it look tacky? maybe I can modify a small enclosure for them so that they do not look that back when viewing from the back.

Any inputs? Ideas? Is it tacky?

I just need a little more mids and highs to keep up with the bass.

they will sound like super tweeters mounted behind you. if you like tweeters behind you, then they will sound great to you.

they will be obnoxiously loud but put them on a fader or amp you can specifically turn down, and they'll be fine.

they look fine to me.

you could mount them firing up along each cargo side in the back if you want them to be inconspicuous and sound a little better.

If you want them to be hidden you could probably mount them under front seats. That would probably sound terrible though I dont know anything about sq...

After a little more inspection, they look like they can be mounted under the dash. However both will be pointing up straight to the driver and passenger. I though i read the they were suppose to be facing lets say towards the knees, I dont know. Any input?

the more on-axis they are, the louder they will be. aimed at you is a good thing.

actually, they could sound very good aimed forward.. but they would need to be cut down to fit. {mini-guides would be better}
