Lots of u had/have one...lots bought multiples..some burned immediately leaving the "burnt popcorn "( or was it fets I smelled)" smell ...some lived on buttery & delicous... my question, what was the component issue that caused it?

in some people case it was installation and tuning. not mentioning any names but someone smelled fets burning on both his 6ks. but he blows up all his amps so that wasn't fair to the brand.

I've ran a couple 6k's strapped @ 1ohm since I got them with no issues. keep your input voltage below 2 and also have the alt and batts that an amp this size needs and you'll be fine.

My concern is the ones that are pretty much DUPU ( dead upon power up)

Sensitive input/pre-amp card/section?

Input voltage Below 2 volts? Is it just me or is that really low? (Yes I know it's RCA output)

Just run it and take normal precautions like check for loose wires, shorts, keep it cool and what not. If it's a good amp then it'll be fine.

That or give it to me and I'll do all the worrying for you
