Some good 12 gauge should be fine. You will have a hard time even with that gauge wire trying to twist the wire together and get it inside the terminals on the SA 8s.

How do you have 1500 posts and not know what kind of speaker wire to use?

I always use whatevers cheap. the DIYMA speaker wires pretty decent. And wal mart 12 gauge can always be used in a pinch when shipping cant wait.
