Default Dayton Home Rca's in car?

https://www.parts-express.com/pe/sho...number=181-657

Do you guys think these cables will perform well in a car audio application? They seem to be higher quality than alot if car audio brand rca cables and are cheap compared to higher end car audio cables but I dont know if they are twisted etc... any input would be appretiated. Thanks in advance.

no reason they wouldnt. Look on monoprice.com through there RCA's if you want cheaper RCA's. those things are so beefy/stiff but really quiet in terms of outside noise and are cheap AF

This set on parts express is 12 dollars thru buyout. Pretty damn cheap compared to other high end cables. I was just worried about noise getting thru more easily than good car audio rca cables... the daytons may be better but Im not sure.

they're really all the same shit. if it has a thick jacket like that, it's likely noise won't be noticed. That's what's known as shielding. the more the merrier. and monoprice one's which are ~two 10-8g wires side by side are about $6-7 for the same length

For only $6.49 each when QTY 50+ purchased - 25ft Premium 2 RCA Plug/2 RCA Plug M/M 22AWG Cable - Black | Premium Analog RCA Cables

I actually just bought 2 sets of these to use in the wife's car. The only differences I noticed are 1- the coating seems to be a more sticky/rubbery feel versus a smooth feel, so it might catch more under the carpet in tight spaces and 2- the ends are a friction fitting versus a compression fitting. Appear to be good quality, just haven't had time to install them yet.

So these may not hold quite as well as compression fittings then...

I just grabbed my old alpine out of the closet and plugged a set in to see how they fit. They actually have a pretty tight fit to them, but if I have problems with them staying on, a little electrical tape will fix it.
