Default Need some help replacing amplifier components.

Hey everyone, I've slowly amassed a couple broken amplifiers, and would love to get them into/back working order.

First up is a Hifonics BXI2006D with a few leaky caps.

imgur: the simple image sharer

The other side of the caps just have the 85*C Temp rating, manufacturer, and (M)?

She still functions great, but I would really like to get those caps replaced..

Sometimes it will kick into protection mode when its first fired up, but a quick ignition cycle and its all good.

My big question, which caps do I choose? I took a peek on Mouser and some have different Ripple Currents, Tolerances, Temp ratings, and Life Loads..

Next up on the chopping block is a Rockford T20001BD

Photo Album - Imgur

This turd was given to me by a friend who got it from a friend, and so on and so forth.

Once again I'd love to either fix this or get rid of it, but I need to know what parts I need and what to test and what to buy.

Last but not least a PowerBass ASA 1000.1Dx

This was also given to me by my same friend, and apparently he thought it was wise to use machine screws to tie down the speaker terminals? Yeah well the bolts were touching, so I replaced them with some lug screws and all is well.

I appreciate any and all hand holding.

Ryan

Hit up dbr or brandes.cm on here those two will probably be your best bet. Both do great work an charge reasonable prices.

For example I just had brandes repair my power supply in my crescendo 3kwp an it cost me less then $130.

Im not so much looking for someone to do it for me, as quite frankly I dont have the money to spend on professional service, and im more than capable of soldering.

I'm more looking for a quick recommendation on what parts I should be looking for..

105C, 80V, 2200uf low esr cap

T2000 isn't one to just get generic help on. Look up basic car audio repair on Google. Understand amp theory then ask questions.

Thank ya sir, I am aware I need to stick with the same Voltage and Capacitance, and I was planning on using higher temp caps, I jsut wasnt sure based off of the information I was seeing on Mouser why one cap could be 10.25$ (for one) and another 3.26$..
