Default Need some help on picking the right equipment for new car!!

I have a 2001 buick lesabre now , i am pretty sure its 6.5s up front and 6x9 in back , i already have a sundown sa-12 on a sax1200 so the sub stage is done , i would like to buy some good CHEAP speakers to help give me a really good quality sound. its a big car so i doubt my 12 will be pounding too hard , so im looking for a nice midbass and some real good highs , i dont think ill be amplifying them so i need speakers that will perform of deck power

what do u recommend? i was thinking alpione type r all around , that would cost me about $200 unless i bought used

I would suggest picking up an amplifier if you are gonna invest $100 into each pair of speakers. if you are on a tight budget get something oldschool. A lot of the old "[email protected]" amps easily put out 60+ and can be had for cheap.

If I was running off head unit power only, the first thing I would be looking for is efficiency. More volume, less power. For the money, I'd go with either PPI or Soundstream PA speakers, but if you're looking for component setups, MB Quart is hard to beat for the price. Hope this helps out a bit!

Let's be serious. What's the point of posting if ur not gonna be helpful

And the reason I am shying away from running a 4ch. Is A.) I don't wanna upgrade electrical nor do I want to stress my electrical
And I'm running a 1200 watt sub amp so..... And B.) 4ch amp means money for the amp plus money for the wiring to install the amp , plus if I'm
GOnna have a 4ch amp I might as well get components or at least very good coaxils.

so I would just like some clean , efficient , 6,5s and 6x9s. I'm probably gonna buy used. I can get a pair of 2005 Memphis m class 6x9s locally for $30. So unless someone has some info that should steer me away from that purchase that's gonna be my 6x9s. Then I just need a few good suggestions of 6.5s for the front. Any info on type r 6.5 coaxils? Or maybe Polk dxi650s ? Or Jl audio evolutions 6.5s ? Suggestions and thoughts please!!
