For daily, I prefer the simplicity of a single amp setup. Usually less wiring and not having to worry about finding a place for two amps. With your wiring options, I would expect to see more power reactively out of the Sundown at 0.5ohm than the AB's at 1ohm each. If the AB's were at 0.5ohm each, I'd take the AB's.

i used to have the newer model american bass 100.1s i did NOT like them at all
i barely could get 1200w clean out of it..and thats with 4v preouts voltage drop only to low 13s wired pretty low too

ive personally seen just over 3000w clean from a saz2500..
sundown is a MUCH better quality amp

now if we were talking the old school american bass 100.1s like the cx100.1..well thats a different story

why are you selling your aq 2200 and getting the sundown 2500, is it a big difference on those 2 amps? isnt it better to just get another aq 2200 and run those 2 amps?

no doubt. Id still go with power>simplicity.
Oh and since you are on ap's nuts i might want to inform you i finally got ahold of a new apcl 3k and will put up results. They use the ap1800 boards not the 1500s now. By the looks of them you might wet your pants for a 300$ 3k lol
