Unhappy What is the cheapest way to ship??

Local post office wanted $40 to ship a 20lb sub from cali to maine

There must be cheaper options

Fedex says around 30

That's a pretty far distance to ship. I have an account with ups and do all my shipping through online labels and then drop off at a local business. I save quite a bit compared to USPS. Never compared to fed ex so I couldn't tell u which is cheaper

shipping prices are more dependent on size of package than weight of package. UPS or FedEx is gonna be your best bet to ship anything that wont fit into a flat rate Priority USPS box.

FedEx is cheaper almost always, followed by UPS, and then USPS. The only time the post office wins is with priority flat rate boxes.

If u wanna try n get away with it, u can ship USPS Media Mail....its only for magazines and stuff....but i did a bunch when u was younger...crazyyy cheap

i did this a few months ago and got a bill for $22 saying what I shipped was not "media". which was correct, it was a set of speakers that were well packed. i don't know how they knew, either X-Ray or they opened the box.
