When I was younger like 8 or 9, I would wait for my parents to leave and I would blast the HT tower speakers my pops had, I would take the covers off and watch the woofers.
Back then had no idea what was going on, just knew I liked and I had to know how it all worked. I was hooked. From then on all I heard was you play it to loud and your bass shakes everything, I did the whole computer subwoofer thing before getting a car.
Then in high school I would grab a ride home from a senior my sister knew, he had an Acura with 2 - 15s, I loved it, the install was clean. This was back when Cash Money Millionaires and Outkast was top charts. So lots of punch throat closing kicks.
That next summer that guy took me to a local comp and I was hooked. Did a bunch of installs in all my vehicles, did 2 - 12" in a center console that went from the dash to back glass in a 2wd dodge ram when I 16. After selling that truck the same year and buying the same truck just 4wd haha, I went to the moderate side of audio installing and more off road and did a "sleeper" install everything stock looking with sealed 10s under the front seats and moved to helping people with their installs.
I installed a lot of my friends stuff, when I was 18 I did 4 - 15s on 6k in an Expedition for a local kid. Was definitely a building shaker. After that I knew I would be doing this forever, and just relaxed and tried to stay up to date while enjoy other hobbies and new adventures, IE racing hare-scrambles and motocross, then college. Between those I had no money for car audio, so I just ran what I had for probably 4 or 5 years.
I finally got things moving in my life this past year and I am back at the money hole we call car audio.
Interested age 8-9
Positive I would do this for the rest of my life 18
