Default Beginning of a home amplifier build..

I am building a 250wrms home amplifier the picture of the start is below in the attatched pic....what do you think? It is an IC amplifier which will use two bridged ICs and a large heatsink. Alot of large "stereos", "recievers" etc bs so hard on their power ratings....they may be max ratings, or do that power rms power at high distortion that is unbearable. This amp will do alot of power with distortion and still a bit without distortion..It is suppesed to be 180W bridged at 8ohm, or more at 4 ohm(about 200 maybe) without distortion above 1%. Or if pushed it can do like 250 at 10%...Something along those lines. For a subwoofer, one may not even care about 5-10% or they may idk but this is a cool project I'm working on. 180W rms in home is pretty valuable compared to car. My peerless HDS sound loud as heck on just 20wrms.

The large transformer weighs in at 7lbs. It supplys 100Volts to power the ICs...I also found some badass rubycon 80v 8200uF caps in an old stereo!!

Is that a stereo/reciever? I can repair alot of random electronics but I'm busy with alot of things rightnow like a guitar amp for my friend, a few other amps, etc(builds not repairs)..

...I have to leave my house for the day so more will come later ot this thread. Maybe I can lay everything out to get people into DIY for themselves. I will prob come back tonight and show more on progress for this.

It's a powered subwoofer amplifier used to drive the bottom 8" woofers in a tower. See link for reference. If you'll have time in future, let me know.

The 2030s? or 7293s?

I'd like to contruct a nice wood enclosure for it as small as possible...add features like adjustable filters eq etc..
