Default SQ-925's running hot

Anyone else running a ab sq 925? and does it get warm? right now i have two of them, on one channel 1 and 2 are running my 4 tweeters and channel 3 and 4 are running my back mids, and the other has my two front mids bridged on it the gains are almost all the way down because the amps are pretty beasty and will thrash my daytons. but whats the deal here?

I just sold the one I used for like 6 months or so. Great amp, but even wired at 4 ohm per channel it got pretty warm. I just figured it was normal for a 80X4 class ab amp.

Yea it's definitely odd. Worse comes to worse, yank the backs off and put some fans on them. 1 big one(200mm+) or a couple smaller ones(80mm, 120mm).

Any room to mount them to the back of the back seats? Or on the back wall of the cab? If you can get them against something else while getting a little more ventilation to them, it would definitely help.

or you'll burn the truck down lol. I was thinking use the back as one big heatsink for them, but I forgot the newer trucks might have fabric there lol

no room behind the seats, please ventilation is even worse back there, and if one of them did catch on fire it would take my whole truck with it because i have to take the seats completely out to get back there.

Well crap. Under the seats is probably the best option then. Just add some decent hi-flow fans and see if that helps. can you put intake fans in front of them and exhaust to the sides?
