Default Does peel and seal do anything?

Or is it a waste if I took the headliner off and did the roof with it?

Here's how this thread will go:

For the first two pages you will get straight yes/no answers with no evidence. Then 1-3 people will chime in saying that it worked in their friends/cousins/brothers car. Then more people get pissed at the supporters saying IT CANT WORK NO WAY BRO. Then one person posts a link to Sound Deadner Showdown, which is summarily ignored for the rest of the thread until page 8. Somehow Audiopipe is brought up on page 10. In the end it's decided that durability can be an issue, as is the smell. The amount of coverage you would need to make it comparable in performance to other products would keep it from being any cheaper than using the "good" stuff in the first place.

This!!!!!

But in all reality, it does help, just not a whole hell of a lot lol. I have it in my eclipse trunk now, 2 layers and it helped quite a bit compared to the nothing that was there to start with. I'd still rather use actual deadener though.

Damnit, I "accident-linked" to alpha damp. Does this count instead of the SDS?

if my friend were a forum surfer he would tell you himself that it works excellent. it made a huge difference and there is NO smell. i don't know where people come up with that.

read the reviews.

Add it up. Do the math. Bang for the buck... 25% coverage of a proper CLD is cheaper and more effective than 100% coverage of garbage.

Is P&S or whatever better than nothing? I guess; if all your trying to do is mass load and lower that particular panel's resonant frequency to where it vibrates at 80hz instead of 100hz.
