I'm doing all sorts of wood working this weekend. Today I'm building a few things for my apartment and tomorrow I was planning on building a t-line for my SA-12.
I found that my max dimensions are 33w x 28d, sketched up a quick t-line and found that the port length would be ~102" which would work, and get me to a 33hz tuning. Well, I had some spare time so I added 45s to the sketchup, re-measured, and now I'm only seeing 80-82 inches which would be about 6.75 feet or 41hz.
The fs of the SA-12 is around 33hz IIRC and I don't know if it's a good idea to build this box now... I'm going for SQL rather than pure SQ so 41hz doesn't sound too optimal to me. However, I have been dieing to try out a t-line... What would you guys do?
