Default Help with front door speakers

I'm about to put some 8" PA mid woofers and some bullet tweeters in my work van. It's a big ass ford e250. Gonna put 1 8" and 1 bullet in each front door. What do you guys recommend? I've pretty much narrowed down the woofer to either neopro or pwx but still open to recommendations. Since its just a work van I'm not gonna put an expensive amp. I was thinking about a sq 120.4 cause its only 300 bucks. And I have no idea what tweets to get. Anyways I was leaning towards the neopros cause there wattage rating is closer to what the 120.4 puts out (I know they will take a lot more)

Also I'm looking for a really bassy mid woofer. I know the neopros get very bassy but was just curious about how they sound and respond the more power you give them

There is not a PA mid in existence that is "bassy." They're designed to play down to maybe 80hz....maybe.

was gunna say same thing cause the PA's have a lite cone and suspension...I think the crescendos get lower due to a heavier cone...been wanting to try em but not hip to super tweets in a daily driver...ever thought of a dedicated mid bass with a 5.25" or 4" components or nice coax with built in crossovers? The 4's shine on lead guitar solos!

I do have a Polk mm 6501 component set and a mm651 coax set... I forgot to mention I want to run active off the 120.4 that's one of the reasons why I wanna run some super tweets. Are you saying basically have an 8" and a component set? I listen mostly to rap and dubstep and other electronic music. I think 8" pa's will really do well with dub

I really like the AQ supertweeters. Run them daily in the wife's ride and tamed down they sound very good on any kind of music.

I don't listen to dubstep so not sure which mid would be better....

Okay cool and they're only 40 bucks too. Would the 120.4 not overpower them?

would it be possible to replace the tweeters in my component set with the aq super tweets? like hook up the super tweets into the xover that comes with the components?

AQ's come with a cap for the HPF, so I wouldn't mix that with your xovers.

And yes that amp could overpower them, you'd need to set gain very low
