Default whats wrong with my 4th? a little help please.

Ok to start heres where im at:

2000 Audi A8
Blow through the rear deck
2 15in Incriminator Audio Death Penaltys D2
Powerbass XTA 5k @.5
Tenney 320 amp alt
2 Shuriken BT 120s

Enclosure is:
3.5 sealed separate chambers
7 ported
Port is 20x6.5x7.5 tuned to 49?
Subs are firing in the direction from front and back of vehicle, port firing through rear deck going up.

So far my frequency range with this port is 32+ peaking at 38 148.3
Really lacks lows.

Ive added 3/4in internal port walls on the 6.5in sides. 2 layers on both sides making my port 17x6.5x7.5.
This gave me a little better lows and still a decent range (28+ now) but brought my score down a few 10ths.

My question is, is the reason my lows are horrible cause of my subs? Or my port? Or my enclosure?

What could I try to be able to play lows better and also make them forceful?

Any help would be great! Thank you.

How low do you want to play?

Get the sealed section to resonate at say, ~40Hz and tune right at sealed resonance and see what happens.

Might be able to get the sealed section there with polyfill.

I just want to play down to say 20 safely.
Will polyfill help lower my sealed resonance? If so, how much, where do I get it and do I just put it in there?

Does this mean my sealed side is to small? 1.75 per 15.

Apparently it is either to small or your tuned to high. Did you check your sealed resonance before you put the port wall in?

No. Dont know how to do that. Also the way the box was made the panel to make it sealed was the last panel to go on. Had to build it in the trunk.

So far ive gotten the tuning down to 45is by shrinking the port. Im worried about shrinking it to much cause now im down to about 15 sq in of port per cube now. Maybe just shy of 15

bring up the space on the sealed side to around 5 and tune to 45 on the ported side.

And use 140sq in of port. No less more is always better.
